Hi! My name is Mathieu, I live in the South of France and I am passionate about commercial aviation since my early ages and I am so pleased at having discovered this website. I so look forward to make the most out of it and to discover other members collections. I worked 13 years for Air France, currently working at Amadeus (leading European GDS- global distribution system- which is the platform that airlines use to manage their content, inventory etc...). I am a big fan of Flightradar24 app and I enjoy tracking my flights in flightmemory (since I was born). My biggest experience so far has been to be upgraded in 1st class on Emirates from DXB to SYD on A380 ... and take a shower at FL400!

I currently nurture a core 1/500 collection of around 170 planes and trying to reach the 200 by end of 2026. My ambition is to try having at least one aircraft of each type and subtype that exists for that specific scale whatever the brand and airline but with focus on AF AM KL BA DL and the full russo-ukranian fleet type. I also have trading side collections of: 30 planes on the 1/200 scale 5 KL models on the 1/1000 scale 4 planes on the 1/100 scale 2 great models on the 1/400 scale 1 1/600 model that I will be happy to trade against my 1/500 wishes.
