I am a Master Licensed electrician and a rock and blues drummer. I have a life long love of aircraft that started in the 4th grade. I built 1/72 scale plastic models of WWII planes from every country and theatre of the conflict until I was around 19 years old. I ended up with over 200 models that unfortunately over the many years have been lost to the ravages of life. I discovered 1:400 scale diecast in 2015 and went crazy with it. I created the Facebook group "1:400 Scale Model Aircraft World" in 2018.

My collection started simply with trying to acquire just the few models of local carriers I was familiar seeing. I live within 50 miles of Love Field and DFW airport, so American and Southwest and historical examples like Braniff are the core. 10 models turned to 20 models, which turned to 50, then 75, then 150, etc.... I have now collected most all of the local carriers examples and other world carriers I am interested in, so now my purchases have slowed to just what piques my interest.
